Funded by the Standards Council of Canada, this guide supports local governments in integrating natural asset disclosures—such as wetlands, rivers, forests, and coastal dunes—into their financial reporting. It builds on existing national and international standards to help demonstrate the value and effective management of these assets. Developed through workshops with over 120 experts across Canada, the guide provides recommended disclosures for use in unaudited reports.
